Who can get Legal Aid and do I qualify?
Legal Aid is only available to private individuals. It is not available to companies or groups of people.
The Guernsey Legal Aid Service expects all potential applicants to firstly investigate whether you have any other means of funding your legal expenses that make it unnecessary for you to obtain Legal Aid, for example, under an insurance policy (legal expenses, home or motor insurance) or membership of a professional association or trade union.
