The Child Youth and Community Tribunal
If your child has been referred to The Child Youth and Community Tribunal (CYCT), in limited circumstances legal aid is available. An initial 2 hours advice and assistance under a Green Form (referred to as a Peach Form) is available but you must be financially eligible.
Whilst the CYCT is a "lawyer free zone", in exceptional circumstances, where a parent is unable to adequately represent themselves at the CYCT hearings, legal aid may be available. Again, you must be financially eligible.
